The Chicago Sky are WNBA Champs for the first time in franchise history. And it was truly a team effort from the top down! Candace Parker came home to where it all began and help bring a title to #SkyTown and Coach Wade, one of the most amazing human beings and coaches in all of team sports, was the architect of it all. He epitomizes class, humility, and family. Among many many other things.  But it cannot be overstated enough how symbolic and historical it was to lead his team to their first ever championship after a pedestrian 16-16 regular season. He believed in them, helped them be better individually and collectively as the season progressed, and they consequently played their best basketball when it mattered most. Flowers also go to his incredible wife, Edwige Lawson Wade. And his son Jet!
