Chief Clark Prioritizes School Safety | Las Vegas News

New Clark County School District chief Jeff Clark is doubling down on school safety, ramping up citations and traffic stops while pushing for year-round officer training. He’s urging drivers to slow down and stay alert in school zones to protect students and staff. Though budget constraints limit police presence at elementary schools, Clark says talks with the superintendent are underway to secure more funding. With enforcement already rising early in the school year, the department is fully staffed and ready to make safety a daily priority.
