Chiefs Equipment Staff Begins Annual Logistics Move to St. Joseph

The Kansas City Chiefs have officially initiated their yearly transition to Missouri Western State University in preparation for the upcoming football season. A highly decorated equipment staff is responsible for managing the complex logistics of moving over 14,000 pounds of supplies, ranging from heavy weight room machinery to specialized player apparel. This massive relocation requires a week of coordinated semi-trailer shipments to ensure the satellite facility is fully operational before players arrive. Led by industry veteran Allen Wright, the crew works extensive hours to recreate the team’s entire professional environment in St. Joseph. This logistical milestone signals the end of the offseason, with rookies and quarterbacks scheduled to report for duty immediately following the move. Following these preparations, the team will host various public practices and fan events to engage the community before the regular season begins.
