Chiefs Launch Training Camp as Mahomes Returns to Practice

The Kansas City Chiefs officially commenced their 2026 training camp at Missouri Western State University, beginning with a specialized early arrival period. This initial phase focuses on quarterbacks, rookies, and specific veterans who are recovering from physical setbacks. Head Coach Andy Reid emphasized the importance of these sessions as a preparatory ramp-up before the full squad joins later in the week. A major highlight is the return of Patrick Mahomes, who has been cleared for full participation despite a previous ligament injury. Additionally, wide receiver Rashee Rice has also returned to practice, while other injured players continue their rehabilitation. Fans will soon have the opportunity to attend, as public practice sessions are scheduled to begin following the exclusive member events.
