from Washington Commanders News Today | 2 Min News | The Daily News Now!
Chig Okonkwo is already making waves in Commanders OTAs, showcasing elite speed, athleticism, and yards-after-catch skills that earned him a $30M deal. QB Jayden Daniels is raving about his readiness and chemistry potential. While Chig’s blocking isn’t his strength — he’s among the worst in the league — that’s fine for Washington, who already has John Bates handling the run game. This division of labor lets Chig thrive as a dynamic receiving target, poised to elevate the Commanders’ passing attack with his explosive playmaking.
