Child kidnapping syndicate operating in Gauteng

SAfm — Police are hunting for suspects who have been kidnapping children around Gauteng. The provincial Community Safety Department says four cases have been reported in Ekurhuleni, and Pretoria this month with the last incident occurring earlier this week. In all the cases the suspects demanded a ransom and later released the children on receipt of the cash. Those kidnapped were between the ages of six and 17 years. Community Safety MEC Sizakele Nkosi-Malobane says parents should keep an eye on their children.
