from Christ Community Church of Pembroke Pines · host Christ Community Church

Love of Children (vv.13-14) There was not a word of all that Moses had commanded which Joshua did not read before all the assembly of Israel, with the women, the little ones, and the strangers who were living among them. Jos. 8:35 6 “And when I passed by you and saw you wallowing in your blood, I said to you in your blood, ‘Live!’ I said to you in your blood, ‘Live!’ 8 “When I passed by you again and saw you, behold, you were at the age for love, and I spread the corner of my garment over you and covered your nakedness; I made my vow to you and entered into a covenant with you, declares the Lord God, and you became mine. 9 Then I bathed you with water and washed off your blood from you and anointed you with oil. (Eze.16:6, 8-9).” 20 And you took your sons and your daughters, whom you had borne to me, and these you sacrificed to them to be devoured. Were your whorings so small a matter 21 that you slaughtered my children and delivered them up as an offering by fire to them? 22 And in all your abominations and your whorings you did not remember the days of your youth, when you were naked and bare, wallowing in your blood. (16:20-22). “Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. (Matt. 18:3). Faith of Children (vv.15-16) ‘Take 5 to Give 5’ God (his existence, nature and law) Man (nature) Lost (unable) Gospel (atonement) Faith (repent and believe) Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin did my mother conceive me. (Psa. 51:5) 19 For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them.  21 For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened. (Ro. 1:19,21). For you may be sure of this, that everyone who is sexually immoral or impure, or who is covetous (that is, an idolater), has no inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God. Eph. 5:5 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Ro. 6:23.
