Joyful Anticipation of Good Faith and joy are directly related. Faith is the foundation of hope, and hope is joyous and confident expectation of good … all because of God and His faithfulness, His goodness, and His amazing grace! What does a child do when their birthday party is coming up? They are giddy with joy and excitement and expectation! As children of God, we too should be giddy with joy and excitement in expectancy of His promises coming into manifestation in our lives! How can this possibly be in the midst of trial or tribulation? Because joy is not based upon what is going on around you. Joy is based on what God has done and is doing inside you!
