Children of murdered Muriel McKay lose bid to scan garden for her remains

The children of murdered Muriel McKay lost their High Court bid for an injunction that would have allowed them to use ground-penetrating radar to search for her remains in an East London garden. Mr. Justice Richard Smith denied the request, citing insufficient evidence and the "egregious conduct" of the family's representatives toward the homeowner.   The judge stated he was "not persuaded that even if a survey was carried out, that it would be conclusive one way or the other" and found the evidence for her remains being at the site "thin".
