CHILE: Comrade Conversation W/ Diego Polanco
from Machete y Mate Hosted by Machete y Maté
In a T-less comrade conversation, Austin and LeRoy sit down with and are blown away by Chilean Economist and red-diaper baby Diego Polanco! In this invaluable discussion, Diego shares a bit about his family's inspiring involvement in the Chilean and Latin American Left, stretching back to even Pre-Pinochet times, as well as his own personal background. He lays out an incredibly detailed and thorough history of the Chess match that has been the Chilean political landscape, particularly from the last 20 years, that brought us to the possibility of Gabriel Boric being elected President of Chile. We finish off, of course, with a discussion of next steps, his outlook, and what he wants for the future of Chile.
