from Wake Up Sydney
Wake Up Sydney Podcast Description Wake Up Sydney: Weather, Traffic, and Trains In this episode of "Wake Up Sydney," Johnny Rocket gets the city started with the latest updates on weather, traffic, and public transport for Wednesday, 18 September 2024. The morning begins on a chilly note, with the city at 9.7°C, Parramatta at 7.6°C, and Bondi Beach at 11.8°C, but temperatures are set to rise to a pleasant 25-26°C across these areas. On the roads, there's congestion in northbound lanes on Centenary Drive near Hume Highway in Strathfield South after a minor accident, so drivers should be cautious. Public transport users are advised to anticipate delays due to ongoing industrial actions affecting Sydney Trains and NSW TrainLink services, particularly with trains from Lidcombe to Olympic Park running every 20 minutes due to urgent repairs. Despite the inconveniences, Johnny Rocket encourages everyone to enjoy the sunny Sydney day ahead.
