Wyandotte County recently passed a controversial ordinance banning camping on public and private property without permits or permission. The vote was close, six to two. Meanwhile, the Country Club Plaza continues to draw community input as officials move forward with redesign plans for that iconic shopping district. Residents have been voicing concerns about what the future of those streets and buildings will look like. In business news, Lee's Summit's prominent shopping destination, Summit Fair Lifestyle Center, has been acquired by a new group of investors. That's a significant shift for that area at the intersection of Interstate 470. We'll be watching to see what changes might come to the shopping experience there.
