Chin Up Show Special: It Only Takes A Spark | The Story of AYA

from Chin Up Show · host Kenneth Chin

It was meant to be a five-minute video about AYA's history. An hour later, we were still recording. In this Chin Up Show Special, Pr Kenneth Chin shares the extraordinary story of AYA (Asian Youth Ambassadors)—born from a vision he received in 1994 of a darkened map of Malaysia catching fire, one spark at a time. Funded by faith through ang pow gifts from his own wedding, AYA exploded into a movement that saw three thousand young people encounter Jesus and commit to follow Him. But when the Lord asked for disciples, not just decisions, everything shifted. In 2000, Acts Church was birthed and AYA stepped back. Now, two decades later, Pr Kenneth believes it's AYA's hour again—through the launching of AYA Borneo. He's calling Acts Church to dream bigger than herself and partner with AYA for the next chapter of revival and revolution across the nation. Watch as Pr Kenneth unpacks this pivotal season and what God is calling the body of Christ to do. Asian Youth Ambassadors (AYA) was founded in 1995 by Kenneth and Sandra Chin to reach the world of youth, and the world through youth, with the message of revival and the mission of revolution.
