China's Global Development Initiative: Partnership with developing nations

Five years after its launch, China's Global Development Initiative has emerged as a major platform for international development cooperation. President Xi Jinping unveiled the initiative at the United Nations in 2021 with the goal of promoting global development and accelerating progress toward the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Since then, the initiative has gained broad international support, with more than 130 countries and international organizations participating in or endorsing its development cooperation efforts.
