The group's founders were Mr. and Mrs. Ward Hurt.The group has had more than 75 members in its 60+ year history, including several recognizable names as Paul Vincent, Tommy Atwood, Billy Todd, who latersang with groups including the Dixie Echoes and the Florida Boys. The BibleTones have the distinction of being “Mississippi’s Oldest Quartet.” While they have had many prestigious members over the years, today’s groupis made up of baritone Jack Armstrong, bass Glen Floyd, lead Jamie May and tenor Danny Jackson, with Andrew Ishee on piano and Ken Keyes on bass guitar.The group’s website says, “Our singing style is primarily traditional Southern Gospel music.
