Chiro Hustle Podcast 086 – Mimi Sweat, DC

Dr. Mimi graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dietetics from the prestigious Life University in Marietta, GA in 2004, graduated as a Doctor of Chiropractic in 2009, then earned my Master of Science in Sports Injury Management on 2010. Dr. Mimi is currently an Attending Clinician at Moody Health Center at Texas Chiropractic College. In addition, she has served as an Adjunct Faculty member at the Atlanta Art Institute in Atlanta, GA and Augusta Technical College in Waynesboro, GA. While in school she completed her chiropractic internship in Accra, Ghana, West Africa. Dr. Mimi is currently the National Secretary for the American Black Chiropractic Association. She was honored in 2017 as “Chiropractor of the Year” by the ABCA. Her specialty in Sports Injuries and Rehabilitation has allowed her to serve and to treat a variety of athletes; juvenile and adult, collegiate, semi-professional, and professional athletes with phenomenal success. Dr. Mimi is currently the team Chiropractor for the Houston Energy; the 2018 Champions of the IWFL (Independent Women Football League). She also has a growing love for prenatal and pediatric chiropractic care. The babies love Dr. Sweat. Dr. Mimi grew up in Covington, GA outside of Atlanta and currently live in Houston, TX. Her passion is to educate the world about Chiropractic, and she is able to do that by educating future doctors.
