With his distinctive multi-genre blend, he is an all-star switch hitter sliding into home no matter the time slot or the tempo. Employing a truly authentic aim to relate to his audience and that of a future era through all styles of music, as well as exhibiting an unwavering dedication to the turntablism craft. It has given him the versatility and skill sets needed to play alongside names such as Pendulum, High Contrast, Netsky, Jack Beats, AC Slater, Liquid Stranger, Caspa and more! He has been showcased throughout California at various festivals, from Outside Lands and Bottlerock, to Stilldream and Pure Vision, all while still retaining the legacy that is considered genuine local sound. He is signed to San Francisco labels like 9G and Blue Orb, as well as working with Bay Area crews such as Tech Support Recordings, Runtime DNB, HUSHconcerts, Reprezent Clothing and Higher Conscience; resulting in consistently and creatively upholding what is intrinsic to what we have come to know as West Coast Electronic Underground music.       Jawb Bio “justanotherwannabe” aka “jawb” is not the next big thing. Truthfully, he's a rather small individual with a big passion for huge sound systems. Growing up, 90s techno/trance/house took a firm hold on him. Lump that in with top40 radio, alternative, punk, rap, metal, reggae, blues, and anything else he could shove in his ears...you end up with a lifetime of chasing the music dragon. From house parties, to club spaces, renegades and warehouse undergrounds...JAWB has been there. He loves it. If he isn't in the booth with his USB he is in one of three places....inside a subwoofer, standing in the back soaking it all in, or in the bathroom doing any number of questionable things. When asked to describe his music/sets: “I used to be really specific with single genre sets and planning them out track by track, down to how I was going to transition between each one. These days, after years of playing out to different crowds in different settings, I tend to pick a handful that I know I want to play in a set, usually different genres, and I challenge myself to piece them together for the dance floor in a way that doesn't just tell a story, but actually takes you to a place that shouldn't exist. That's how I like to imagine the space anyway. I don't really follow specific labels or genres anymore, I generally follow the sounds that speak to me.
