There are shortcomings that can arise in our life over time. We must be on guard against apathy and complacency in our life. Fireworks aren’t going off 24/7 in both our marriage and spiritually. But we must embrace the time we spend with Christ and our spouse. In Ephesians 5 we see instructions of how husbands should treat their wives. In the same way God is married to His church.
