Temptation will always come around in our life. We slay temptation when we stop justifying our bad behavior. We slay temptation when we stop making excuses for our actions. We slay temptation was we overcome doubt and unbelief through the Word of God. We slay temptation as we recognize that Satan is a liar and the master of deception. In Matthew 4 we see Jesus face this temptation. When the devil comes to Him, He remains faithful and firm. You can’t make a deal with the devil. We slay temptation as we overcome dissatisfaction by surrendering all of our ambitions and desires to God.
