from Choose & Become! · host Trish Kendall

In the Choose & Become Interview series, I delve into the five critical choices that led me to enduring success, and I unearth the inspirational stories of my guests as they share their journeys to enduring success with us using this five-choice framework.  Today’s Episode—Morgan Motsinger - Speaker, TEDx Speaker, Podcast Host, Fulltime Student, Wife, Mom, Sister, FriendWe first met when Morgan was advising about podcasting to a professional speaking group I belong to (led by Nick Morgan). Right away, Morgan came in with such joy, love, and compassion. Morgan is an incredible listener, and I could feel that immediately. At the end of our session, Nick asked us to share a moment of joy, and I shared how my relationship with my 14-year-old daughter brings me so much happiness. Morgan's face lit up when I shared this, and her smile towards me came from the inside out.Afterward, I did some ‘Morgan research’ and learned more about her, her purpose and shockingly learned her daughter, Anni, died when she was 14. Almost two years ago. When I lit up on that Zoom talking about Lilly, Morgan instantly lit up embracing that love with me. Thinking about that moment solidified the kinship I feel with Morgan, and it’s one of the reasons I’m so grateful for our connection.More About Trish    Trish Kendall is proof that we each have the power to create true success—enduring success—no matter our story, experiences, or circumstances.Trish's inspiring and impactful approach helps organizations, teams and individuals create enduring success, together.  Inspiring people around the world, and providing a pathway to enduring success, Trish brings candid stories, humor in the face of true hardship, simple lessons, compassion, and love to all her speaking engagements and workshops.

Wounded Warriors of the Cross Gary Pastoral and clergy mental health is a mostly ignored area, especially by those who live their lives as pastors in the clergy. The stigma of mental health within those who serve in the shadow of the cross is something that invokes the stigma of fear. Many of those in the clergy will choose to suffer in their despair rather than reaching out for help. Sometimes those suffering choose to wait until it's too late to get the real help that they need. At Wounded Warriors of the Cross our mission is to lift the stigma and the veil of silence that encompasses clergy mental health and assist those who suffer in silence. Wounded Warriors of the Cross is here to shed the light of Christ's love into those dark places. NEWMORROW SESSIONS - A PodCast Series on the Future of Hospitality Mario C. Bauer, Florian Schneider, Axel Weber & Dr. Tillman Bardt The Newmorrow PodCast is more than a podcast — it's a platform for open dialog on the future of our business, a platform for those building what doesn’t exist yet. Here, we share and embrace our passion for the hospitality industry, but we won’t romanticize the journey. We ask the tough questions, confront uncomfortable truths, and prepare for a future that resists easy answers. We believe that the tougher and wilder times become, the more openly, honestly and humanely people need to talk to each other and act together. We believe, openness, togetherness, and truthfulness should also be cornerstones of a professional community to develop our utopian idea of „open source“. This is a space where visionaries don’t just imagine the future — they wrestle with the paradoxes that shape it: success vs. happiness, data vs. instinct, stability vs. reinvention. Join leaders, entrepreneurs, and thinkers as they share not what made them — but what’s actively shaping them, now and next.
