from Ash Said It® Show · host Ash Brown

What’s the difference between duck and turkey anyways? How does the story of Maple Leaf Farms begin, how many ducks are raised on this farms annually and why is this holiday season a great time to include duck on the menu? Marketing Director Olivia joined me for this insightful talk about a brand you can trust. Web: http://www.mapleleaffarms.com/Follow: @mapleleaffarmsAbout: Founded by Donald Wentzel in 1958, Maple Leaf Farms started out as a small duck operation in Northern Indiana dedicated to producing products with "quality you can count on.” In its first year, the company produced just 280,000 ducks. By 1964, Maple Leaf Farms quickly grew its annual duck production to more than 1 million. Wentzel was convinced that the U.S. duck industry could make significant progress if properly managed. Although he passed away in 1968, Wentzel imparted this vision to his son-in-law, Terry Tucker, who has been with the company since 1963. Under Tucker's leadership, the company made several strategic moves to grow the business and become more vertically integrated, emerging as a market leader. In 2001, Wentzel's grandsons, Scott and John Tucker, were named co-presidents of Maple Leaf Farms and leveraged the company's expertise into new business opportunities. Today, the fourth generation has joined the family business and together the Tucker family continues to set the direction for the company based on its values and commitment to family, community and, of course, quality products. Maple Leaf Farms is extremely proud of its heritage and the history we have made to become the leader in the duck industry.About the show:► Website: http://www.ashsaidit.com► Got Goli Gummies? https://go.goli.com/1loveash5► For $5 in ride credit, download the Lyft app using my referral link: https://www.lyft.com/ici/ASH584216► For discount Pangea Products: https://embracepangaea.grsm.io/ashsaiditmedia3226► Want the ‘coldest’ water? https://thecoldestwater.com/?ref=ashleybrown12► Become A Podcast Legend: http://ashsaidit.podcastersmastery.zaxaa.com/s/6543767021305► Review Us: https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/ash-said-it/id1144197789► SUBSCRIBE HERE: http://www.youtube.com/c/AshSaidItSuwanee► Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/1loveash► Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/ashsaidit► Twitter: https://twitter.com/1loveAsh► Google Plus: https://plus.google.com/u/0/+AshSaidItMedia► Blog: http://www.ashsaidit.com/blog► Pinterest: https://www.pinterest.com/1LoveAsh/► Newsletter: manage1.com/subscribe?u=2a2ca3b799467f125b53863http://ashsaidit.us11.list-c8&id=a6f43cd472#atlanta #ashsaidit #ashsaidthat #ashblogsit #ashsaidit®Ash Brown is a gifted American producer, blogger, speaker, media personality and event emcee.
