Choose Gracefully

The gift of the church is a whole community of people who have made lots and lots of mistakes and thus have a treasure trove of knowledge to share with us about what prudence actually means and looks like. The church covenants to remain with us when we get it right AND when we get it wrong. Every week we gather in the space for worship, we present our bodies as living sacrifices as we receive God’s word through scripture, sermon, and sacrament. And by receiving these means of grace we are given the strength to not conform to the world but instead we are transformed by the renewing of our minds so that we may discern the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
