The Book of Joshua concludes in chapter 24 with Joshua's farewell address to the nation of Israel as all the people gathered together before the Presence of the Lord. Summarizing God's good works and faithful words, Joshua warns the people that to reject the Lord will bring about disaster but that "as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord" (v. 15).
