We don’t know how we are going to get through. We don’t know when we are going to get through. We don’t know where we will be when we finally make it to the other side. This reality of uncertainty is discouraging, disorienting, and dismaying. It can stop us in our tracks and freeze us where we are. It can halt any progress we hope to make. I’m convinced our only way forward is trust. Trust that there is a loving God that never leaves us or forsakes - even when we feel forsaken. Trust that God will make a way out of no way, open doors we cannot see, put us in touch with the right people, and make the necessary resources available. Trust that if necessary, God will level every mountain, fill every valley, and part every sea to lay a pathway before us. We don’t know how, when, or where.
