Choose Your Destiny! Technical vs. Management Track

Many engineers will come to a crossroad in their career between the 5 and 10 years of experience mark. They will inevitably be faced with a major decision that will impact the rest of their career. They must decide: Do I continue doing the same work, deliver the same content for the same compensation? Do I use my experience gained to train, mentor and coach others in their career by moving to management? Do I dive deeper and broader into technical areas to solve more complex and difficult technical issues that affect not only individual, group, or companies but impact the entire industry as a whole? I chose option #3 and can share my insights on that journey.
