Chooses To Love

Life Group QuestionsKey Verse:Matthew 22:35-40 – One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question: "Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?" Jesus replied: "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments." 1. Pastor Rob opened up about his past talking about not having a loving heart, being angry and alone, and not wanting to want to deal with others around him. Have you felt like this recently and what are you currently doing to change that? 2. "Send people into my path or allow me to cross paths with someone who needs to hear about Jesus." Give an example recently or not of a situation where you shared your heart and talked about Jesus to someone else. 3. The two greatest commandments are to love God and love others, in that order. Share some examples from your life when you lived out these commandments.4. Pastor Rob read a letter to a GMI Pastor from a church member (See letter below). Are you investing in someone right now by how you live your life? "When you gave your life to Jesus, you invested in me. When you answered God's call to ministry, you invested in me. When you decided to be faithful to your wife and your family, you invested in me. When you turned disappointments and defeats into victories, you invested in me. When you refused to compromise in area after area, year after year, you invested in me. For all of the "me's" in GMI and around the world, thank you for continuing to give your life. Please don't stop. You are showing each of us how to do the same."
