Now there are few days while the remaining five have to go into the jungle and carry out a lot of undesirable tasks. Or, the metaphor I prefer, to take part in a series of beauty contests.You will remember, the front runner is Rishi Sunak. Then there’s the surprise second favourite, Penny Mordaunt, followed by the drifting Liz Truss, and the two hangers-on Kemi B and Major Tom.
