"Choosing Challenges to GROW Rather Than Waiting for Things to Happen To Us" - Dr. Jordan Fairley Podcast Ep. 9

from Reframe & Reclaim with Dr. Jordan Fairley · host Dr. Jordan Fairley

I recently heard from someone who said "wow, I can't believe all of these bad things happen to you, that must be how you've grown so much"  yes, I have shared some of the hardships that have happen to me, AND i think the best way to GROW is to KNOWINGLY CHOOSE the challenges we can place ourselves in on a daily basis with a specific goal in mind. In highschool and college for me this was distance running... not easy!  but I knew I wanted to get faster and the suffering was worth it. In chiropractic school this was pushing myself continuously outside of my comfort zone to become a better public speaker.  What is that for you? What is it that you want?  and what is it going to take to get there? it probably won't be easy, you will be challenged over and over and over... and that is how we grow.
