Choosing to Forgive: What Forgiveness is Not

Sometimes teaching on forgiveness has been misused or misapplied, causing more damage to those who have already been wounded or abused. In this episode, Jake clarifies what forgiveness is and what it is not. Forgiveness does not mean it is okay what happened to you, that you need to minimize the damage done, or that you must maintain the same level of relationship with the offender.
