Choosing to live a good life!

from Whoa to Go · host Karen AD

Have you ever hit rock bottom and felt like giving up on life? My friend and colleague, Chrissy Gavin walked in for spinal fusion surgery five years ago and things went terribly wrong. She ended up in a wheelchair, unable to walk, unable to care for herself and her whole life was turned upside down. At this point she nearly gave up on life. I’m so glad she found a resilience and strength to keep going, because I would not have met her if she hadn’t. Chrissy chose to live a good life, despite the challenges she faced. This is Chrissy’s story of overcoming a massive lifequake! There is so much wisdom in this episode, as evidenced in Chrissy’s words below…“Life might not look like how I want it to, or how I planned it , but there can be a new life, a different way forward…I choose to live a good life.”Chrissy refers to Paul De Gelder in the episode and you can find him here:https://www.pauldegelder.com/You can contact and follow Chrissy here:Website: https://masculinematters.com.au/Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/mmcc.ozInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/mmcc.oz/Share your takeaways from this episode with Karen ADOn Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/thekarenad/On Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/thecounsellingstudio
