There's no doubt that vulnerability can be such a tough thing. However, it's absolutely necessary if we are to grow in a relationship with God and others around us. Confessing our brokenness is so, so powerful and honestly inspiring to those around us. We aren't perfect, and it's not out jon to pretend we are. There's no such thing as the "perfect Christian".
