Chosen and equipped as God

The Lord continued: "Before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations." The word "sanctified" means set apart for a holy purpose. God had reserved Jeremiah for service long before Jeremiah understood his assignment. Jeremiah was not left to discover his purpose by chance. God had already prepared the work and appointed the worker. Likewise, God has a purpose for every believer. Paul writes In Ephesians 2:10 (KJV)"For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them." We are God's workmanship. We are His creation.
