In this episode of Restful Revelations: ChosenTalk, I explore the story and spiritual traditions surrounding Dr. Buzzard, Hoodoo practice, John the Conqueror root, galangal, justice, and the historical use of spiritual practices when conventional systems failed to provide the justice people were seeking. The conversation takes a deeper look at the relationship between justice and revenge, spiritual traditions, protection, power, and the ways people have turned to unseen forces for assistance throughout history. What does justice really mean? When does the desire for justice become a desire for revenge? And what can these traditions teach us about power, survival, and seeking what we believe we are owed?
