On the 88th episode of the GreatBase Tennis podcast, Steve Smith and Brandon Flanagan have a tennis conversation with Chris Cloer. Chris has a lifetime of tennis experiences. His first exposure to tennis basically started in the cradle because his parents have always worked in the tennis club business. As a junior, he became a blue-chip recruit and then posted an outstanding record while playing for Florida State. Upon graduation, he began his coaching career under the guidance of Harold Solomon.Chris has coached competitive players at all three levels: juniors, college and pros. He served on the coaching staff for the men's teams at North Carolina State and the University of North Carolina. He also experienced the role of a travel coach on both the WTA and ATP tours.
