Chris Edwards: Play-by-play man for the Carolina Mudcats on a Potential League Title

A chapter of North Carolina baseball history is coming to a close. Next week, the Carolina Mudcats will play their final homestand at Five County Stadium in Zebulon, their home since 1991. This winter, the team will move to a new stadium in Wilson. But before the transition, the Mudcats are chasing one more milestone. With 12 games left, they sit atop the Carolina League’s Northern Division and are aiming for their first league title since 2003, when they played at the Double-A level.
