To celebrate reaching 50 in 2004, Sundridge Park Mansion was booked. A black tie event, a menu of fish and chips or sausage and mash, with mushy peas, designed to lower the tone, was unleashed on 50 unsuspecting guests, to approval. The whole evening was always going to be about the music for me, I didn’t want to have to wait until something played, that I could dance to, or at very least it would have to be a ‘toe tapper’.
