Before that, he was CEO of Barclays‘ Commercial Bank. His earlier career was spent at Goldman Sachs, where he was a Partner and at Morgan Grenfell.Chris has an MA in Economics from the University of Cambridge.He was awarded a CBE in the 2021 New Year Honours for services to business, particularly during the COVID-19 response.
