Eight years before the current pandemic, Chris Kito came close to dying by not being able to take a breath. At age 24, Chris experienced an NDE due to an allergic reaction to a bite of birthday cake containing peanuts. It took the next seven years before he had integrated the experience sufficient to be able to share his story, and begin to make sense of his life. Chris feels that a transformation took place, changing what had been his previous youthful outlook on life to a newfound spirituality, and to his successful career. Chris was fortunate to survive his loss of breath, but whether or not we live or die, Chris’ story lets us know a comforting fact — we do not die alone.
