Chris McIntosh Leaves Wisconsin Athletics | Wisconsin Badgers Football News

Wisconsin’s athletic director Chris McIntosh is out, moving to the Big Ten office after a tenure marked by both triumphs and turbulence. A former Badger offensive tackle drafted in 2000, McIntosh rose through the ranks to lead athletics since 2021 — succeeding legendary AD Barry Alvarez. His legacy includes hiring Luke Fickell as head coach but also lagging NIL progress and a disastrous 2023 season. Alvarez, who once backed McIntosh, now leaves grading to fans while endorsing his successor, Shawn Eichorst. With Wisconsin’s glory days fading, this transition signals a pivotal moment for the program’s future. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
