Chris Paul is awesome, Randy Orton immune to fridges and more!

from Relatively Speaking Podcast · host Relatively Speaking Podcast

The Relatively Speaking Podcast is here to help you overcome the Monday blues. Something like that, but it is worth noting that if you are sad and the podcast does not help in making you happy, you should consult the finest episode of Teddy Ruxpin. Monday's edition of the Relatively Speaking Podcast is legitimately lit. After Jared asks if he should stop setting up Joseph to nail down the same topical joke each week, it is reactions to the NBA Playoffs! The most notable discussion had on the podcast was about the Los Angeles Clippers. Both hosts are against blowing up the team, and Joseph makes a case that Chris Paul need not chase the rings because what he has done for the franchise is more impressive. Rarely used segment Things On Our Mind also returned during this edition of the podcast. Jared waxes poetic about the New York Yankees, while Joseph tells mankind how Randy Orton can somehow overcome a refrigerator being dropped on him and (we think?) job to an arena after. Another interesting NBA discussion had: Gordon Hayward's shift from wiry college basketball superstar to that of a legit NBA talent who has a nice haircut. This episode closes as have all great podcast episodes before it -- with Absurd Questions! Joseph makes a case that if you followed Ja Rule anywhere, you likely got what you deserved. Inspired by this, Jared would like to know what rappers people think they can beat up. After much mulling it over, the co-hosts agree that nearly every rapper in the history of the art would destroy both of them.
