Chris Rand(Segression, Rand Tattoos, Marathon Runner, Top Bloke)

Chris Rand is one of Australia’s finest musicians of the heavy music scene and really a trailblazer for Australian music with his work in Segression. They toured with some of the biggest names in the world, including a very young Slipknot when they first came to Australia among others. They set a standard and developed a reputation for heavy grooves and music to bounce to. Chris is also a smart guy with university degrees and tattooist for the family business. In recent years, he developed a passion for running as a way to stay healthier and it turned into more, running in the Boston Marathon among other running achievements. A passionate family man, Chris is a great guy and a good friend and despite some technical issues recording, we enjoyed a great and heartfelt chat. Enjoy!
