Our special guest for show #041 of Torque & Chatter is the 2003 World Supersport Champion and former Moto GP racer, Chris Vermeulen. Chris began his racing career in Australia competing in flat track events. He then moved on to road race a Yamaha R1 and then in 2003, Chris won the World Supersport Championship on board a Honda CBR600. Chris then had a successful World Superbike career prior to moving to Moto GP. In this show we speak in depth about Chris' motorsport career, family life post racing and his love of hotrods. Chris is an incredibly humble person who I thoroughly enjoyed chatting with, and I look forward to going for a ride with him in the future.
