Christ Comes To Our Deserted Places

Christ does not abandon the multitudes in the deserted place, but He has compassion on them and as He had compassion on them, He has compassion on us in our deserted places. Our deserted places are our grief, where He comes with comfort, our loneliness, where He comes with companionship, our disappointments, where He comes with confidence, our illnesses, where He comes with cheer, and finally in our spiritual dryness, where He comes with His constant presence. The Lord is at hand.
