Christ is Better

Whether it is your wedding day, the birth of a child, or those times when you just look up at the stars; when was the last time you where amazed by someone or something? Do you remember that feeling? OK... so now when was the last time you were just completely amazed by Christ? Not amazed by what he has done for you but amazed by just simply WHO he is? I'm not talking about oh yeah Jesus is cool.... No!!! When was the last time you just sat back and you have just been taken by the majesty and wonder of Jesus?I sometimes think that some of the apathy and "careless" attitude within Christians and the church today is due to the fact that we can often lose our amazement of Christ.Friends my prayer for you today is that those same emotions that you felt when you witnessed your bride walking down the isle.... saw your first child being born... or witnessed a shooting star... will reemerge. My prayer is that you will leave this place amazed by WHO Jesus is. Today, we are going to be looking at Colossians 1:15-23 and in this passage we will find 7 characteristics of Jesus. However, before we dig into this passage lets put it into some context.
