Christ Our High Priest | 3,650 Minutes of Prayer

This is Day Sixty Four of 3,650 Minutes of Prayer. Today, we journeyed through Hebrews 5, dwelling on the deep revelation of Christ as our High Priest. Unlike the high priests of the old law, such as Aaron, whose ministry was limited by their own humanity and restricted to a specific tribe or nation, our Lord was appointed by God the Father for all nations. He was not chosen by man, but was the only begotten Son given because God so loved the world. He is the High Priest for every person, in every place, reaching beyond every boundary of the past.We reflected on the reality that we have a High Priest who truly lived among us. As we see in Hebrews 2, 17 18, He was made like us in all things so that He could be a merciful and faithful High Priest. Because He suffered and was tempted, He is able to understand our suffering and our weaknesses perfectly. He is the High Priest of priests, the One given the name above every other name, who personally stepped into our experience to remove the bridge of separation between man and God. We concluded by recognizing that as His body, we are under the care of a Priest who knows every single thing we face and has already triumphed on our behalf.We spent our time interceding and lifting up a prayer that this High Priest will remain with us and lead us in every step. We prayed that the Spirit of God may continue to reveal this deep revelation to our hearts, reminding us that we are never alone in our struggles. For anyone who feels weighed down by sin or any burden, we declared in prayer that our High Priest is there to provide guidance and restoration.
