CHRIST, OUR LIBERATOR

Scripture: "So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed." – John 8:36 (NIV) Devotional Message: True freedom is not found in wealth, status, or self-achievement—it’s found in Christ alone. Before Jesus, humanity was bound by sin, guilt, and spiritual death. But through His sacrifice on the cross, He broke the chains that held us captive and opened the door to new life and liberty in Him. Christ didn’t just release us from bondage; He liberated us to live in righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. His freedom empowers us to say no to sin, to walk in truth, and to fulfill our divine purpose without fear or condemnation. When Christ sets you free, your identity changes—you are no longer a slave to the past, but a beloved child of God. Live each day as someone who has been rescued and redeemed. Don’t return to the chains He already broke; instead, walk boldly in the liberty of His grace. Today, Ask Yourself: Am I walking daily in the freedom Christ purchased for me, or am I still bound by fear, guilt, or the opinions of others? Prayer: Lord Jesus, thank You for setting me free from the power of sin and darkness. Help me to live as one who truly knows Your freedom—boldly, joyfully, and faithfully. Amen.
