CHRIST, THE ANCHOR OF HOPE

from The Kingdom Of God First Podcast. · host Tewe Kolade Felix

Scripture: “We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.” – Hebrews 6:19 Devotional Message: Life’s storms are unavoidable. Unexpected trials, delays, losses, and uncertainties can shake our confidence and leave us feeling adrift. In those moments, we need more than optimism—we need an anchor. Christ is that anchor of hope, holding our souls steady when everything around us is unstable. An anchor does not remove the storm; it keeps the vessel from drifting. In the same way, Jesus does not promise a life without challenges, but He promises a hope that is firm, secure, and unchanging. When circumstances shift and emotions fluctuate, Christ remains constant. His promises are sure, His love is steadfast, and His word never fails. Hope anchored in Christ reaches beyond what we can see. It is rooted not in feelings or outcomes, but in who God is. When your hope is anchored in Him, fear loses its grip, patience is strengthened, and faith endures. No matter how fierce the storm, your soul is secure because Christ is holding you fast. Today, Ask Yourself: Where is my hope anchored—in changing circumstances or in the unchanging Christ? Prayer: Lord Jesus, thank You for being the anchor of my soul. When life feels uncertain, help me to rest in You. Secure my heart in Your promises and strengthen my faith to trust You through every storm. Amen.
