Christ the King Sunday Message: Exploring the Theme of Kingship in the Bible

Join us for this overview of kingship through the Bible. The Executive Director of Preserving Bible Times, The Rev. Robbie Pruitt, gives this message on Christ the King Sunday, November 26, 2023, looking at the theme of kings throughout the scripture, focusing on Jesus Christ our King. https://preservingbibletimes.org/ Christ the King “Yours, O Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, for all that is in the heavens and in the earth is yours. Yours is the kingdom, O Lord, and you are exalted as head above all.” (1 Chronicles 29:11, ESV).  A Collect for the Last Sunday after Pentecost: Christ the King: “Almighty and everlasting God, whose will it is to restore all things in your well-beloved Son, the King of kings and Lord of lords: Mercifully grant that the peoples of the earth, divided and enslaved by sin, may be freed and brought together under his most gracious rule; who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.” (Book of Common Prayer, 2019).
