Auslöser dafür ist die Erlaubnis mancher Bischöfe, dass in ihren Diözesen homosexuelle Paare gesegnet werden dürfen. So hat das etwa Kardinal Reinhard Marx für sein Erzbistum München und Freising erlaubt. Das sorgt nun aber für Widerstand vom Vatikan. Papst Leo der XIV. sagte kürzlich, die förmliche Segnung gleichgeschlechtlicher Paare werde nicht gebilligt. Das sorgt für Unverständnis in Deutschland. (Andreas Jölli)
