Christian Conspiracy Coalition (Did Jesus Christ Exist?)

from You’re Missen the Point · host drewmissen88

Welcome back for another episode of Christian Conspiracy Coalition. A place where the best minds in the conspiracy realm gather to share and discuss their faith, Christianity and the spiritual war thrust upon humanity. Napoleon is quoted as saying "history is the version of past events that people have decided to agree upon". This concept when combined with terms such as "history is written by the victor" it is easy to see why one of the most hotly debated topics is the historical existence of Jesus Christ. This is a topic that theologians, historians and scholars have been debating for hundreds of years but this specific episode comes as a reaction to another podcast.  Last month a very well renowned content creator Archaix (Jason Breshears) put out a presentation called "The Jesus Myth Exposed: Collapsing a Modern Fairytale". To help tackle the concepts and ideas presented in that particular podcast I am joined by two of the biggest theological and historical heavy hitters I know Brandon and Luka.  Brandon Kroll of the Manna Daily Podcast https://www.patreon.com/TheMannaDailyPodcast?utm_medium=clipboard_copy&utm_source=copyLink&utm_campaign=creatorshare_fan&utm_content=join_link   Luka of the Justified Belief Podcast https://open.spotify.com/show/4UYLENLZZJlPIpCkyczF1Z?si=c319b530131b4d85    This conversation isn't an attack on a particular person or their character, this was a genuine conversation about challenging ideas arguments that have been put forward. For the sake of context I do encourage you all to listen to his presentation so that you can get the whole picture.   Please see the link below. Archaix : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=00cySTk7ufQ&t=2s   We went on to discuss; - History, theology, scholarly sources and extra biblical texts.  - The Roman Catholic Church.  - If Jesus existed where are the minted coins? - Why would there be a need for statues, murals or mosaics? - Mara Bar-Serapion (70AD) Syrian philosopher.  - Suetonius (69-140AD) Roman historian. - Flavius Josephus (37-101AD) Jewish historian.  - Which historical accounts can be trusted? - Cultural contagion and modern misconceptions.  - The etymological changes of names.    And much much more...   *This podcast and the information presented are for entertainment or informational purposes.
